The gite in past times was a watermill where peasants came to have their wheat ground in order to make their own bread and cereals ground to feed animals. In the fifties the arrival of electricity in the area allowed local farmers to run their own grinders but, as a result, the miller lost his customers. He started a new job as a poultry farmer. The mill then became an outbuilding used as a workshop, cellar, and storeroom. Several lean-tos were built around it, from the wood-shed to the kennel. After 1990 the mill was renovated and turned into a “Gîte de France”. Now it welcomes tourists from all over the world who appreciate its comfort and peaceful location. Ground floor:

Central heating Outdoors: Large lawn, terrace, millstream and river, waterfall, paths, BBQ, garden furniture, deckchairs, two bikes available for your disposal. Pets welcome We have also just installed a new spa for the personal use, free from the 1st of April to All Saints holidays, for all our guests at our gite. We hope that this will give you added pleasure for your holiday, when you are staying with us.
